TEMPORAL LIFT IN BANGKOK, THAILAND
As we get older, the elastic tissue of the skin starts to become looser and the tell-tale signs of aging, such as wrinkles and loss of firmness begin to appear on the face. There is nothing wrong with aging naturally, of course. However, many people find that regaining their youthful looks via plastic surgery provides a significant boost to their self-confidence as well as enhancing their appearance. That is one of the reasons why patients visit us for affordable facelift surgery from Thailand as well as across the globe.
TEMPORAL LIFT SURGERY
SURGERY
A temporal facelift is a technique for enhancing the appearance of your eyes by using tiny incisions to raise the tail (outside corner) of the eyebrows in the temple (the lateral front) of the face.
It results in removing the sagging at the corners of your eyes and correcting the shape of the brow without lifting the middle part of the eyebrow. Typically, small incisions are made in the hairline or within the hair, depending on your facial features.
A temporal facelift is recommended if you have hooded eyelids or drooping eyelids or brows without any forehead issues. It is a less invasive procedure that requires minimal recovery time compared to a brow lift.
Before the Surgery
- Read the pre-surgery instructions to help prevent complications and improve outcomes for your surgery.
- Plan to take at least 7-10 days off work and your normal activities.
- Depending on the type and extent of the procedure, the surgery may be performed under general or local anesthesia.
- If having general anesthesia, do not eat or drink anything after midnight the night before your surgery.
Recovery
- Individual recovery times can vary depending on the type of procedure. For example, full facelift patients may need 4-5 weeks for recovery, while mini facelifts only require 3-5 days.
- In general, some bruising can be expected after surgery, and you may experience some tickling and numbness.
- Once the swelling subsides you will start to see the full results of your facelift surgery.
- Your surgeon will schedule one or more follow-up visits after surgery to monitor your progress, remove or change your bandages and evaluate the incisions.
- You should sleep with your head elevated for the first 1-2 weeks after surgery. It will also be necessary to sleep on your back for the first 2 weeks.
- Keep your physical activity to minimum and avoid any activities that raise your blood pressure for at least 10 days.
- Most people should be able to return to work and light activities after 2 weeks.
- Stitches will usually be removed after 1-3 weeks depending on the type of procedure.
