Lip Lift Surgery
This patient is a Singaporean. She had Alarplasty and Tipplasty with Dr. Theerapong on 3 July 2023 and she came back again. The procedure she wants to do this time is “Lip Lift Surgery” or another name known in America or Australia as “Bullhorn Lip Surgery” which is surgery to remove some of the skin under the nose (Philtrum) and sewn together to make the upper lip look slightly raised. Suitable for those who have naturally thin lips or those who want plump sexy lips
We scheduled her surgery on August 16, 2023. During the pre-surgery consultation, Dr. Theerapong commented to her that It was not a good idea to cut off too much skin under the nose. And the lips should not be raised very high. Because it will make the results after surgery and the shape of her lip was strange. If she wants to have surgery, She can do it. But the results may not change that much. Because the overall shape of her lip is already good. She acknowledged the opinions of the surgeons and she understood. She said she didn’t want any noticeable changes. But only wanted naturalness and then she chose to do it.
And here is a little interview with her where we asked her about the clinic’s services. She gave the following answer…
- For what reason why you choose to use the service with Interplast Clinic? Where did you see our clinic advertisements? Or do you just search on the internet? What was the motivation that made you choose to have plastic surgery here?
Answer: I did research and enquired with more than 10 clinics in Korea, Bangkok and Turkey about rhinoplasty. I also did a consultation with a Korean clinic that held a consultation event in Singapore. From my experience, most of the clinics wanted me to do a full rhinoplasty with silicone to correct my short/ethnic nose at a very expensive cost, but only Interplast advised that I could do tipplasty and alarplasty to achieve a more natural look which I wanted. I found Interplast through google search results. For all the clinics I found, I did research on google reviews to make sure they were not fake reviews.
- The clinic services and how is Dr. Theerapong’s consultation? What are you impressed with? Did the staff explain the process to you in all the detail? Or what would you like us to improve on?
Answer: The staff is very friendly and it’s helpful that they speak English. Dr. Theerapong is a very experienced and he is able to understand exactly what I want. I was worried that the surgery would not match my facial features or give me an unnatural look, but the results were great. Also he did the surgery very well as I did not have bruising and minimal swelling. My friends and family are all impressed with the final result of my surgery. The staff were kind as I performed both surgeries under local anesthesia which was quite scary. To improve, the clinic can play some relaxing music during the surgery to help calm the nerves.
- Why did you decide to do Tip Plasty, Alarplasty in 3rd July 2023?
Answer: I have quite a short nose and wide alar base, also my nose tip is flat.
- Why did you decide to do Lip lift in 16th August 2023?
Answer: With aging my nasolabial lines became quite deep, which I had to correct with fillers. As a result my lips drooped from the fillers. The lip lift helped to shorten the philtrum length and create a naturally fuller lip.
- How did you feel after the surgery? Is it easy to take care of yourself? Do you have any concerns?
Answer: Because I had minimal bruising, I was able to go out after my lip lift without much discomfort the next day. The tip plasty and alarplasty needed more care as my nose and ear had to be taped, but after 5 days I was able to go to bars with my friends. I did not have problems with my daily routine activities other than avoiding prolonged sun exposure.
- What would you like to tell someone who is deciding to have plastic surgery? Would you recommend Interplast Clinic to someone you know?
Answer: Use plastic surgery to enhance your natural beauty. Interplast clinic makes good recommendations with very reasonable pricing, and I am glad I chose them. I have recommended them to some of my friends in Thailand.
